Adhesive interlinings have a layer of thermo-bonding resin which, with heat, temperature and pressure, attach to the fabric in a practical and durable way. Sewn-in interlinings, on the other hand, are fixed by sewing stitches and are mainly used in tailoring and made-to-measure garments.
